Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the registration deadline?
A: You must register by May 10th to guarantee you receive a t-shirt and to receive the bulk registration discount. We cannot guarantee those who register after May 10th will receive a t-shirt. Final cut off for registration without a t-shirt is May 21st.

Q: Can I take pictures and get autographs?
A: Absolutely! You are welcome to take as many pictures as you would like and get personal items signed!

Q: How does the one-on-one mentorship work?
A: For those who are interested, Kate will meet one-on-one with you to discuss specific concerns, challenges, or questions you have pertaining to your performance. Athletes registered for one-on-one mentorship will receive an email from Kate prior to the clinic to schedule a meeting time. Additionally, athletes can share the topics they wish to discuss ahead of time to maximize their time with Kate.

Q: As a parent, can I attend my child’s session?
A: We love parents who want to support their children; however, we ask that you do not attend the 13 and over mental training workshops because we have found that athletes are much more willing to open up about their concerns and challenges when coaches and parents are not present. Kate is happy to share the information that is discussed with parents afterwards, if there is interest.

Q: What type of topics will Kate discuss?
A: Presentations and workshops will be customized to the audience. Topics may include:

* The power of small goals and goal setting
* Positive self-talk + visualization
* How to support your child in the hardships of sport: fears, nerves, failures, etc.
* Encouraging a growth mindset in your kid
* Developing mental resilience
* How to manage emotions, fears, nerves, unknowns, and do the hard work required to be your best
* Building confidence and a positive self-concept
* Bouncing back after disappointment

Q: Is there a discount for families with more than one athlete?
A: Yes! Families registering more than one athlete receive 20% off the registration fee for all attendees. Use discount code SCSCCLINIC at checkout to receive your discount.
